Outlook, unchanged
Desktop Outlook connects natively, the same way it did to Exchange. No plugins, no add-ins, no retraining. Folders, rules, categories and shared calendars come across.
We ran Exchange for our customers for twenty years. When Microsoft ended support for the version most small businesses actually use, we built ctxmail instead: our own platform, on our own servers, that Outlook connects to exactly as before. Our own company mail has run on it since spring 2026.
ctxmail · outlook works as before
Desktop Outlook connects natively, the same way it did to Exchange. No plugins, no add-ins, no retraining. Folders, rules, categories and shared calendars come across.
iPhone and Android use the same Exchange-style account setup they already know. Mail, contacts and calendar sync as before.
Your domain, your addresses, your distribution lists. Nobody outside the company notices anything except that spam drops.
Every hour, ctxmail learns from what your team has marked as junk and what they actually reply to. It gets better the longer you use it, and it is tuned by us, not left on defaults.
Webmail, shared files, calendars and the password vault use a single sign-on. Change your password once, it changes everywhere.
Your mail lives in our data centre on servers we own and manage, backed up three ways, delivered with SPF, DKIM and DMARC set up properly. Our deliverability score is 9 out of 10 on the industry test.
We run ctxmail with tooling we wrote ourselves, so recovery is routine, not a crisis.
When a serious security flaw is published, we build a fresh, fully patched mail server and move your service onto it in minutes. Your addresses and settings stay the same.
A whole mailbox, or just a folder, the calendar, contacts or a few single items, restored into a separate folder so nothing current is overwritten.
We move your company to another of our sites, with the DNS changes prepared for your provider and checked before go-live.
We copy every mailbox in advance while you carry on working, then switch the domain over at a quiet moment and reconcile item counts mailbox by mailbox. In September 2026 we moved an aviation company's nine mailboxes, the largest holding over 100,000 items, with the switch at five past eleven and every check complete by ten past one the same day.
We audit your current mailboxes, distribution lists, shared calendars and mobile devices.
Mailboxes are copied in the background over several days. You keep working on the old system.
At an agreed time we change the domain's mail records. New mail arrives on ctxmail within minutes. We reconnect Outlook and phones, usually remotely.
Item counts are reconciled and signed off. The old server stays powered for an agreed period, then is retired.
To our cloud or your own: ctxmail can run anywhere.Tell us how many mailboxes and where they live today. We'll come back with a fixed migration price and a date.
